  • When you book with Jam-Master Productions, you get DJ Ed Lorenc and his 40 years of expertise. Keep in mind that some DJ companies work as booking agencies that assign many DJs to functions they book. In order to avoid last-minute surprises, before booking a DJ, you should talk to the person in advance. The company can offer you a specialist or you may get a DJ who just bought a ‘DJ Startup Kit’ and wants to train at your event. Don’t let your event be a training session for those with little or no experience.

  • It is of high importance that the DJ you choose should be an experienced specialist willing to devote time and skills to you and your special event. A dedicated professional will be happy to meet with you face-to-face and answer any of your questions. Prior to making a final decision, you want to make sure you have met with a qualified specialist that is exactly what you want for your special day. I am also available to talk to you by phone, email, or a zoom meeting.

  • Absolutely we will if you request to talk with any of my previous clients. Another person’s recommendation is the best way to find out if a DJ will meet your event needs. A personal recommendation is the primary way we have done business over the years and is what has contributed to our success.   • Special events are different and require different formats. It is important that the DJ of your choice has enough experience so that your event runs smoothly. A highly trained DJ has to be able to deal with any unexpected situation and work closely with caterers, photographers, and other service providers. DJ Ed Lorenc has 40 years of expertise in every event and is one of the most experienced DJ's in the Greater Pittsburgh Area.

  • If your event will last 5 to 8 hours, DJ Ed and my assistant will need to eat, but the music will continue during dinner. We have amazing equipment, and can program the sound to play while we are eating.

  • Yes, of course. We provide each event with on top of the line professional audio equipment and PRO LED lighting systems for special effects to make your event more vibrant, fun, and extraordinary. Brands include Turbosound, RCF, and Mackie speakers, Pioneer Media Controllers, Chauvet and Both lighting, Virtual DJ and Serato Software, and Soundswitch computerized lighting control.  Wireless microphones and transmitters are Sennheiser.   I also have wireless up-lighting to add elegance to any room.

  • As each wedding or event is unique, we will provide you with a personalized quote that caters to your needs, while working within your budget.  REMEMBER, all DJ's are not the same. There is a difference in quality and our rates are fair and consistent within the market area for a true professional DJ.  You are getting 40 years of expertise and some of the best equipment on the market. I can give you an exact quote after knowing all of the details, which will help us provide you with the fantastic service your deserve.

  • As each wedding or event is unique, we do our best to play what you want to hear. Our online music selector is simple to use with drop down menus for "Must Play", "Play if Possible" and "Do Not Play", and allows our clients to  to create a personalized playlist with special requests and the ability to put a note or message on individual songs.
